Join us for our 2nd annual African Dance Party at WXYX Bar in Harlem. We will dance the night away to beats provided by DJ VPNW! And we'll be teaching you some of the latest African dance moves!

Telem Joins The Village Collaborative!
The Village Collaborative comprised of Telem Center for the African Child, the Association of African Journalists and Writers and the African Leadership Project will be hosting a series of workshops focused on encouraging African parents to become involved and active on their school parent teacher associations. On Wednesday December 19th, 2012 the Collaborative hosted its first workshop at PS 55 in the Bronx. Parent concerns about their children's development and obstacles to parents participation in school PTAs were identified. Additional workshops to come. Visit our Facebook page!
